Dear participants,


Thus THE REGATTA 2008 is over and despite the mixed time everything went well. The famous garland color did illuminate Lagoon Grand Harbor.

It was a great adventure, and the whole team Incentive Partners is very pleased to have worked with all of you: with companies, with the canoe and their skippers with Club Nautique de Pointe d'Esny and its members.
We hope that this issue has made a full satisfaction that you have enjoyed the world of fishermen and the Mauritian folklore that surrounds them, that you could meet and talk with environmental experts, and especially the rain n was not such a big problem - (but luckily we had the towels Epongerie!), and that this event original team building, marketing or other will remain in your minds until the next edition next year .

This year the Anse Area Jonchée won the trophy THE REGATTA made by the artist Vaco and hand-delivered by President Robert Desvaux the MTPA, which will be next? Log Lékip or Vital? (Positioned at the second and third overall in this year).

And know also that the company Vital is the winner of environmental and QUIZZ with a single fault. So water, either salt or fresh, has no secret Vital. Bravo!

At the skippers will absolutely remember the names of Maxime Appolon (who fly to Rodrigues with Air Mauritius), Jean Claude Laval Bangard Farla and for next year. And we turn all our compliments to all the skippers and thank you for their very active participation. And of course trillion bravos Alain Langlois, the largest of the Captains.

We would also like to thank all our leaders beach:
Ambre Solaire sun cream for her that have avoided a lot of finish as a red crayfish.
Bois Chéri / Saint Aubin and iced tea in the sun or warm rum in the rain.
Trading for eastern glasses of white wine or rosé and elegance.
Not to forget the Red Bull tent cubes and orange Orange.

It is also important to congratulate the organizations that have given much of their valuable time for LA REGATTA and strongly encourage them in their work, and ongoing programs to improve coastal and natural Mauritius.
A big BRAVO to the Mauritian Wildlife Foundation for all its animations in reef conservation for its explanations and its dynamism and RECOMAP the photo exhibition and Friend of the Environment, MMCs, and Mission Green.

Also if you had not had time to paddle on the kayak with Yemaya or go diving with MUG - we will send you the necessary information.

The next big event in Mauritius will be the Festival Kréol sponsor of the regatta last from 6 to 13 December - less sporty but more musical and would like Shall We Dance?
And THE REGATTA, nobody remained indifferent to the talents of the Orchestra of the police, who gave us the great honor of his presence.

Préservation environnementale

Cette année, l’entreprise Incentive Partners souhaite profiter de l’événement pour sensibiliser les participants à la préservation environnementale, principalement à travers des actions de communication.

L’objectif étant de se diriger vers une démarche durable afin de réaliser une manifestation de qualité conciliant :


Satisfaction des pratiquants
Exigences environnementales
Retombées sociales et économiques positives

Le point fort de la manifestation repose sur un partenariat important avec les organismes actifs dans la valorisation et la préservation environnementale : Organismes Non Gouvernementaux, entreprises privées et associations, selon les principes de participation, de transversalité et d’interdépendance propres au développement durable.

Le but pour Incentive Partners est de combiner sensibilisation environnementale et animation de l’événement au retour des concurrents sur la plage.

L’intérêt pour les organismes partenaires réside dans la promotion de leurs propres activités associée à une rencontre avec les autres entreprises, un échange susceptible de déboucher sur de nouvelles collaborations. Une ambiance type « workshop » qui renforcerait la coopération et la coordination entre les organismes, source de développement pour le pays.
Cet événement est une opportunité pour les organismes de toucher un public large, dans un site naturel exceptionnel et dans une ambiance festive.
